Busy bees

Day 5. I had an unexpected trip this morning. Rob woke up with chest pains, which is a symptom of possible operation associated complications. After a call to 999 we were advised to get to A&E as soon as possible, and quicker than waiting for an ambulance. Where have all the ambulances got to these days?
Anyway, Lancaster RI was excellent for us this time, and Rob was quickly triaged through to the Emergency day care unit, where he was seen and tested with great care and speed.
They diagnosed a partially collapsed lung, which sounds terrifying but is a regular post anaesthesia side effect. There was no treatment and he is home again with instructions to rest and monitor.
An unwelcome day out!
