Drill, Baby, Drill... Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

I am in the process of fitting the back and bottom panels of the Blanket Chest. They are made up of beautiful Alpine spruce which was meant for harpsichord soundboards.  Rather than purchasing yet more plywood, I decided to use up the spruce on a worthy project.  But spruce, even though quarter-sawn, is still solid wood, and it will move with the seasons.  The panels must be secured in a way which allows for that: round-head brass screws in oversized holes.  I have been marking and drilling holes with this wonderful little cordless drill, quite recently added to my tool closet.

Back during Lockdown, I had to do some work down in the garage where there are no convenient power outlets.  After much online research, I settled on the Bosch drill to add to the two immensely powerful - and heavy - corded German drills which I've owned for years.  As I think of it, maybe they will make a Blip appearance sometime...  I had no idea how convenient this little drill would turn out to be.  It's now my Go-To: small and light, easy on the hands, plenty powerful, and it even shines a bright light on the work as the drill turns.
