History walk on a Sunday

While having a late lunch of reheated pizza we decided to join a history walk starting at 14:00, scheduled to go through the neighbourhood called Oddeyri (or Eyrin) here in Akureyri.  This is where my preschool is and lots of interesting houses. 
It was much colder outside than we had expected and soon we were feeling absolutely cold to the bone.  When it also started to rain - icy cold rain! - we quickly said goodbye and hurried home.

It's now more than 3 hours after we returned home and had coffee and my husband's hands are still like popsicles out of the freezer!
