Boughton Fen

Thank you to everyone who asked after Milly. - she is slowly on the mend and taking her steroid tablets.. her face is still puffy and she is a little sorry for herself. We wondered if she had been bitten by an adder???

Today I braved yet more horseflies with a trip to Boughton Fen where I saw an array of dragonflies - four spot chaser and brown hawker, damselflies - too many to mention and butterflies - meadow brown, ringlet, peacock, large white, skipper etc.. I also felt the horseflies on numerous occasions and got extremely hot and bothered.

Off to the beach now to cool off and share a glass of wine with my good friend..
