Brambling days

... are here finally!
It has been a funny season.. not many brambles until now which is late in the season.. they are just beginning to ripen and honestly are not that sweet this year.. I guess not enough sunshine.  Today is lovely and sunny with the odd heavy threatening clouds.. Indian summer? perhaps.. it was good to go out and get some brambles for the freezer and for a crumble for supper!
