Simple Pleasures

At home in my villa with the woofer Rufus, and street cats Momma and her son Billy who apparently now consider this their home too, so the four of us enjoyed the day - apart from when I went out for an hour's shopping this afternoon in temps still around 36ºC which frankly, was not enjoyable at all.

After a walk with the woofer we all settled to a beautiful evening, enjoying the garden, sitting on my patio.  It's so quiet - except for the birds nesting in the palm tree - the subject of a recent blip - until they too, settled for the night and so the warm and balmy evening passed with furry friends, (the cats are inseparable and are never far from me and the woofer), social media, dinner al fresco, crochet and pool time - though the water is noticeably cooler now - until eventually it was time to come inside and spend what was left of the evening with Netflix.
