Patch

We left Essex this morning, wishing a fond farewell to daughter and son-in-law and headed north to Yorkshire, hoping it might be a bit cooler. Instead, the temperature got hotter and hotter, reaching 31 degrees at one point. Thank goodness for air conditioning in the car!

Staying with an old friend whom we haven't seen for three years, so there will be lots of catching up to do and I apologise in advance for lack of commenting. I'll hope to catch up when I'm home again.

This lovely puss is Patch, our friend's new companion and she could give our Simba a few lessons in how to be nice to visitors:-) I'm planning to smuggle her home with us when we leave!!
