Gathering Beauty
If I have a complaint about Blip, it's the one photo rule* (I know you can put extras, but who really looks at extras? well, I do if I can, but have mostly given up tonight as the internet is so slow) because, like today, I've been gathering beauty from my walk to town this morning until our sunset Lula walk tonight, and impossible to choose just one - I want to show the whole sequence, from dried seed heads against a stone wall to bees on fragrant asparagus blossom to cows in a circle of golden light seen from our gate to pink and apricot clouds reflected in the Lake... and this one of ducks flying north against the backdrop of Monsaraz and São Bento, seen from the end of the Lula walk. Mike and I watched hundreds of them all going in the same direction - wonder where they were headed? and not just ducks, other birds, too.
Gratefuls:
- our three going to check out a new place for my brother with learning difficulties, looks like it might work
- a photo of Ermelinda and Cecílio on holiday in the Algarve with their grandson (and his parents)
- a good long catch-up with my sister in Texas
* Not really complaining, one photo a day is enough, really.
