Heritage Open days
Mrs L had a Heritage Open day visit in Ludlow so the spaniel and I dropped her off and headed to the church of St Laurence, famous for its medieval stained glass. Unfortunately I didn't get further than the Victorian windows in the north aisle as the spaniel was spooked by something. The medieval glass will keep for another time. Today's blip is of the Openshaw window (named after its donor), made by Hardman in 1887 which depicts the three Mary's. I liked its unusual colour combination.
