Common sexton beetle

The orange of this beetle drew my attention. I cropped the photo slightly as it was a bit gory being a dead mole.
It seems this beetle is also known as the undertaker of animal world, burying dead creatures then feeding and breeding in the corpse. There were several at work on this corpse it was almost moving along the ground.
Had another lovely active day with the dogs, Keely did her sports training and lots of walks despite the drizzle
