Not a potter today!

Spent a few hours in the studio....not making pots!!!   got my oil paints out, and just the process of mixing colours - applying paint to the surface...gives me such pleasure!  this is just the beginning - i'll spend tomorrow painting also.

Off to a farewell gathering for Jane who will be heading back to Ontario sometime in the next few weeks, for good!   She has sold her little house on the brook and will set up in a new home, closer to her kids.   She will be very much missed, but she has promised to come back to Cape Breton often to visit!
