The Photobomber!

Had my camera lined up to take a pic of one of the latest brood of young Sparrows nibbling at the fresh leaves when who appeared in the background but young Robbie! He spends a lot of time hanging out with the Sparrows in the garden, I often see him joining them on the bird feeders and even the fat balls. I think he thinks he’s a Sparrow!

Yet another two different carers again today, the morning carer stayed an hour and did a great job. The VW ACP turned up to take bloods and was annoyed that the care package hadn’t started on Monday as she’d asked, and that the evening call was 6.45pm instead of 8pm, also as she’d requested. She said she would call the care agency and call me back this afternoon with an update, and with the blood results. She didn’t call. We’d only just finished our Chinese takeaway (too tired to face cooking) when the carer turned up. If they don’t sort this am definitely going to cancel evening visit. The fact that the carer came so early last night created a big problem that I then had to deal with today.

After heavy overnight rain a muggy day of 19 degrees, still heavily overcast, but at least it stayed dry, though the rain is returning this evening and we have yet another yellow weather warning for heavy rain overnight and all day tomorrow.
