Ratschenbuben (Rachet Boys) Fountain

…in Münsterschwarzach, Lower Franconia, state of Bavaria, Germany. 

Made by the local artist Theophil Steinbrenner, this fountain sits on a small square opposite of the towering Benedictine abbey.

In Catholic tradition the ratchets are practised in the Passion Week.
