Inside a Cashew

After the resounding success of my blip of yesterday (ha,ha!), I thought I'd go one better and bring you the ''jelly-ish tapioca'' interior of a cashew fruit. It does have a jelly-ish consistency, with just enough substance to raise it above the ''off-puttingly slimey''. It's distinctly watery and messy, with a slight but definite hint of cashew...although if it was a blind taste you may not recognise the flavour very quickly. And no sign yet of third degree burns on my skin where the juice came into contact with it; DD in her health and safety executive role is still insisting on all suitable precautions as I prepare the fruit for consumption including having a fire blanket to hand....oh, hang on, what's that burning smell...
