Out of Character........??

I've never hidden my dislike for cats, for reasons i've stated on numerous occasions.

So this this image and blip are definitely something of a watershed for me.

Here on Skopelos there are hundreds of feral cats, and frankly i've been moved and quite upset by some of the sights i've seen.

This is the first image i've ever taken of a cat, and the first time i've ever given food to a cat..........

Hopefully he / she won't have to rummage through the wheelie / biffa bins today looking for food, or try and hunt for lizards, insects or birds just to survive.

There's nothing quite as upsetting as listening too cats fighting each other at 2-30 in the morning, imagining that one had caught a lizard to eat and then had to fight off another cat so he didn't lose his meal........

Then there's that very sorrowful moaning / wailing noise that carries at that time of the morning.........

Pitiful.
