Tour Belem

Today we walked our socks off. We went first  to the Tour Belem which is a 16th century fortification which served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese sailors. Then onto the Monument of Discoverers and the Monastery Jeromino where explorer Vasco da Gama is buried.. All beautiful landmarks. We treated ourselves to some Sushi and Caipirinhas in the Time Out market.
