Life's candy and the sun is a ball of butter
After another one of Those days at work we headed up to the allotment for a bumble. It was very lovely but I was sad to see that the only Teddy Bear Sunflower which Si reported to me on Wednesday was already past best
Still loads of verbena being buzzed by the bees. And many peach cosmos and butterfly lilies and sweet peas.
Si' s berlotti beans are turning a lovely pinky purple colour, celery still growing and MY LEEKS are looking like I may get some soup out of them
After the allotment we drove past the airport. There is an air show there to oreow and Sunday ... Nothing much we could see and then a little Lancaster .... But it only had two engines.
Outside my work- there has to be 50 cars parked people picnicking on the grass. I'm not sure what they thought was on the way ... But they were all settled in for the night
So we drove into town and drove to the banking - the promenade of which you can see on the right hand side of the photo
There were people In deck chairs and benches and sitting on the prom walls all the way along
As we got out the car... A typhoon blazed across the sky above us and roared into the distance
It continued buzzing back and forth. Almost impossible to see but boy you could hear it.
Then two jets appeared together, looped round and then landed
Just as the sun was almost gone. A big loud drone started and a headlight appeared in the sky ....;
It was a huge great big Canadian air force plane
Then it was time for home.....
And my photo on the Scottish BBC Weather
