Off to school!

Little Wendy had her first day at big school yesterday, and she thought it was brilliant! It’s so lovely to see her in her slightly too large, shiny new uniform!
Day 3 for Rob, and I left him at home with Bonnie in charge and strict instructions to do nothing! I went off to the market,which was pleasingly busy.
We finished and came out into 25C! Probably the hottest it’s been all year….
A good afternoon to settle the bees down for the autumn. I put their feeders on, and found all four hives in reasonable condition but certainly needing feeding to get through the winter.
Then I harvested some produce, a great haul of beets, and some delicious French beans answerable courgettes for supper. A very glad day.
