Barbecue Weather

Woke up, steekit mist! It wasn't long before the sun burned it off, turned into a beautiful calm and sunny day, reaching about 23⁰c.  Still lovely and warm tonight.  

Up early, a morning puttering about the house, thinking to myself, thank goodness mist won't be an issue for work now.  Headed down to Laura's, then along mam.  Me, mam and Sammy headed out for a walk.  I took Madeline to Lerwick for shopping in the afternoon.  A massive cruise ship docked in.   More walkies, and tea at Madeline's.  Working in the shop this evening, busy as usual.  Another shift covering sickness. Try a pint on my way home. 

Pretty sure this must be the warmest day of the year.  While in town, Madeline stocked up on some barbecue essentials for tea tonight.  Peerie Brian wad head cook, we sat out and enjoyed the food in the sunshine, cooled to 21⁰c by then.  Looking like a good weekend of weather, these temperatures are perfect for my day to day life.  Peerie Brian, big Brian and Madeline, Berry Road, Scalloway.
