To the Tower!!!

We called in to the village of Salon la Tour. We found it impossible to photograph the actual 11th centuary tower owing to the surrounding buildings and very narrow streets. As it was so hot, it was pleasant to find the steep stepped climb in dappled shade. We have to admit that we didn't climb far as the handrail was crumbling away and the steps were so uneven, but it was very pretty.
