The marriage portion

I made an apricot tarte tatin for lunch. Without blowing my own trumpet, I think it surpasses any apple tatin I've ever made. Absolutely sublime with a dollop of crème fraîche. We have eaten all of it. Luckily for you, I put the recipe on my blog. If you re planning a marriage proposal, I recommend it. I honestly couldn't think of anything that would improve it.

A fairly uneventful day, overcast and windy but no actual rain. We watched the interview with Michel Barnier on the evening news. Weapons-grade waffle. I remain convinced that Sabine Weyand did the real work in the Brexit negotiations.

In other news, I updated the choir website for the new season and tried to work out how to get social media to display the link image I wanted instead of using the header image.
