Day 10 in England

Auntie Bea’s birthday today!!! Happy birthday, we all love you so much!!!

Shan was very excited about auntie Bea’s birthday, so much so she thought that she would be at home for the day instead of school. She also saw the cloudy/rainy sky and said “I guess there’s no school today”…she’s slowly adjusting to England’s weather and accepting that we keep calm and carry on!

Sounds like she had a fab day at school. She fell asleep for a longgg nap once auntie Bea took her home. Fajitas for dins to celebrate auntie Bea’s birthday, with special guests G&G. Grandma gave Shan some little animal toys which she was delighted with! Thank you grandma xx

We had a lovely evening, sang happy birthday, skipped around the room and read some books with Auntie Bea. The most exciting of which had ‘real life notes’ in it. Which stirred a lot of excitement in the house! Shrieking every time she found a new one. “Oh my gosh. I can’t believe it!” Every time.

Bedtime stories: Moo baa baa quack and I Love You Daddy (our current favourite). Then we all fell asleep together. It was a busy day!
