I had to get to Crosby this morning to see the Queen Mary 2 sail past. I have so many memories of it. Watching the launch on the holiday programme in 2005 Simon smugly asked if I would like to go on it and I said YES!!!!! We sailed to New York for my 50th birthday.  We went on it again for the return trip from New York a couple of years later. It was fabulous. Am off to RHS Bridgewater for the late night, it's sunny and warm so it will be a great night.
