Not the kind of day I had expected

I had a day off and had planned to relax and catch up with things at home,  but my dad's girlfriend, Irene, rang at 7.30 and said that my dad isin hospital as he was confused yesterday night. 

So I took the boys for a walk and then drove to the training hall. I couldn't skip training as we are performing this weekend and I needed to collect my props. 

So we spent 1½ hours training and then I drove an hour to Brøndby to pick up Irene and then we went to see him at the hospital. 

We stayed a couple of hours and then I took Irene home and drove home myself. 

I arrived home at 5 pm and now I need to get my stuff sorted and ready for a weekend away.
