A nuthatch and goldfinch eating together

It was wet and the birds were keen to find food. There was a lot of congregating at the feeders, and only a few signs of aggravation between the species.

The nuthatch was surprisingly tolerant of the other birds and especially this young goldfinch. A few seconds before there had been about six birdsong and around the feeder at once.
