Fenced out/in
Went down to the next town where there is a beach along the river (still tidal) and a section where the dog can run and walk freely of the lead. You can see the boats out on the river and that the tide has gone out quite a way exposing the mug flats below the sandy beach strip at the top. I think the sand was bought and moved in by machine and isn't natural - but people playing on it don't care.
This back blip is where there is a bend in the road and a drop to the beach, so there is a small fence to stop you falling over the edge. I thought the dog looked a little forlorn looking through the fence as he wants to be on the other side in the mud chasing and sniffing for things.
The fence is only a few metres long so not much longer than what you see here in the picture. So the dog was most happy when we moved along a bit further and he was able to run a round on the beach space getting all covered in mud..
