Gongoozling

It was our monthly WI walk this morning but it was too hot for climbing hills, so we had a gentle stroll along the Leeds Liverpool canal from Saltaire to Bingley. A far more sedate pace than usually but very pleasant.

In trying to think of a title for this blip I now know that the Canal and Rivers Trust has a Canal Laureate and a gongoozler is a person who enjoys watching activity on the canals in the UK.

Think I need a break from the sunshine so it'll be an afternoon of sewing, finishing off the sundresses for C that she could really do with now, then it off to work for the evening because I can't be on holiday all the time.
