Abu Dhabi’s latest shopping mall

Also known as Zayed International Airport. Very impressed with check in. It took me under 15 minutes from the taxi, check in baggage, passport, security and to this point in the duty free. All was achieved with face recognition, the only time I had to show my passport was to board the aircraft. 

As for the other end (via Amsterdam); Aberdeen Airport has turned into a provincial backwater. My flight landed just after 11pm, car hire companies stop at 8pm, and taxis take about an hour to arrive as fares are better from town. Luckily one on my nephew’s picked me up.
