La Plage

We didn't hang around in Dieppe, this morning, but hit the road, stopping for a late breakfast in Rouen. We ate just across the river from the venue where we came to watch Balthazar, although I can't even guess at how long ago that was.

After that, it was back on the enjoyably clear roads, heading south-west, until we reached La Tranche-sur-Mer in the early evening. 

The house is great, a little more modern than our long-stays over the last couple of years, and we unpacked the car before walking down to the beach. 

After that, we retreated back up to the road and found a hotel which provided a couple of beers and a great meal to finish the day.
