Only Happy When It Rains

The weather dramatically changed today—cold, wet, and windy, very autumnal. It was cold enough to put on a hoodie around the house for the first time in months. I don’t mind, to be honest, and I love the colder, stormy weather this time of year. Work was busy in the morning, but I cleared the afternoon’s work very quickly so I could get away at a good time. I managed a short walk in the blustery weather in the afternoon – out along the lanes again. I took some pictures of the damp foliage edging the fields along the way, and I particularly like this moody result, which seems to fit the day quite well.
