In Afghanistan individual breads are sold but in Syria breads come in packages of eight. The number of packages depends on the family size. For example, the family of 10 receives 4 packages... Yes, the families are shockingly big. The average family in the areas we work at is 5.4 but the average displaced family there is 6.6 members!
