The old village

It was a much better day today and not too hot. I went for my 9.30 am scan on my knee. I arrived at 9.20 and left at 9.35 with my photographic dossier and instructions as to access the report which arrived in the afternoon. The total cost was €30 of which I was asked to pay €9 most of which I will get back. I was most impressed especially as I only saw the doctor a week ago. The MRI is on Monday at 7 am which I hope will confirm that there is nothing serious going on and that I just have to increase my strengthening exercises if I want to continue my hiking and sporting activities. It may be difficult to see a doctor but the thinking is usually one of getting to the bottom of things rather than letting things get worse and spending more later.
 
I, therefore, played very little tennis today just hitting balls and one set of mixed doubles. Our first mixed doubles match was played last night in 45 minutes before the heavens opened again. The last two games were played in the rain but we saw out the match 6-0, 6-1. I have singles match tomorrow evening.
