'Strange Weather'
We've had it all today, now this is what Melbourne is renowned for if you've ever visited here. They say if you don't like Melbourne's weather just wait 5 minutes. Very true today.
We've just experienced our highest ever July maximum today with a top temp around 24 degrees, followed shortly after by a massive rain storm with very strong winds. An hour after the rain swept through there was a total calm again with a fantastic double rainbow showing up.
When I went for my lunchtime walk today around the city it was hot and felt more like a summers day than mid winter, so tonight I've played around with an image of St.Pauls cathedral and made it look like it's straight out of the Munsters, The Adams Family or Psycho, even though it was taken in the bright sunshine.
We're set to have some more normal winter weather for the next week or so.
Looking forward to watching a bit of the second Ashes Test at Lords tonight too, hopefully the Aussies can make it a good contest once again.
Have a great day / evening all.
