Autumnal

Last night I struggled to fall asleep. I'd meant to take painkillers before bed as my neck hurt so much, but I forgot until after I was in bed and couldn't find a way of lying down that didn't make it worse. Brian was being a bit noisy - no more than usual, but enough to be annoying in the circumstances. My constant moving around must have kept him awake too.

When he got up to go to the loo I asked him to bring painkillers back with him. I'd been trying to psych myself up to go down and get them but it was so cold last night... Summer is pretty much done, I think.

The tablets did the trick and I went to sleep... Until 9 AM! Fortunately I didn't have a lot planned for today and it didn't really matter.

The autumnal colours of the Arboretum provided my Blip once again today.
