Reclaimed

Up in the mountain, a quarry, long since disused and now reclaimed by and for nature. Water, still and clear, reflected the sunlit trees in otherwise dark shadow. Climbing to a viewing point on a small cliff and looking down into the quarry, made for a spectacular view. Again, the heather and gorse was in full on colour overload. A nice walk.
