New Heather plants.

The Feast Day of Saint Lawrence Justinian. Died 1455. He was Bishop of Castello.

Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Patron of the dying, the sick and the lonely.

It is very cold today and Autumn is in the air. 18.5c. Wearing an extra hoodie to avoid putting the heating on.I went out to the supermarket to buy an iced lemon sponge cake. I met Ashley who is a friend from the street we moved from last year and from the parish church. He and his family have been holidaying in Crete. He had a great sun tan and was wearing flip flops and shorts!
Then I came across Ian Stewart who always helps us with house repairs. I asked him if he could jet wash our front path and he said he could call by when he has finished cleaning out someone's blocked down pipe.
Then, nearly home, I met Patricia, who used to child mind our children when I was teaching. We had a nice roadside catch up chat.

Holly is in her cat bed. Hunter is sleeping under the hydrangea bush and loves it there.

A small hedgehog visits our garden at 9pm each evening and we feed it special pellets from The Range. The cats just watch the hedgehog eating.

The blipfoto shows the three different colour heathers we bought from Stonehill Nursery. They are white, pale pink and deep pink.

Have a great Thursday and thank-you for visiting my site blip friends.
