a dark green fritillary
Holiday - day 6
The morning was spent exploring Aberlady nature reserve. What a fantastic place. The information board said to look out for these butterflies. We only saw 3 but this one was very co-operative. Also lots of ringlets, common blue butterflies and six spot burnet moths. Plus toadlets, reed buntings, greylag geese, eider ducks, bullfinches, a roe deer and some ducks we couldn't identify.
In the afternoon it was a visit to the Museum of Flight at the request of husband. Toured all the hangars - lots of aircraft, civil and military. Went on Concorde - impressive from the outside but so clostrophobic inside.
Then back to camp to relax in the sunshine.
