no ordinary fly - from what i gather - it’s a green bottle fly - what that means though - i have no clue - what attracted me was - the multitude of colors - shining in the light - as it sat patiently on - its leaf for me - i was totally surprised - it lingered as long as it did - so i could snap several - shots of it - usually a fly will - simply fly off as soon as - a human is within range - why this one did not - befuddles me yet also intrigued me

which is most likely - why you see it here - because i don’t - typically post insects - however there was enough about - this one that said - i am different - i am worthy of being posted - pick me to bring joy - pick me to make it…
