Aye, the nights are fair drawing in

Another full-tilt day of spreadsheets and information and as-soon-as-you-can.  In the end I had no more brain left.  My head was on the precipice again and it took most of an hour just to think what to make for tea.  I found a pie and threw some veg together.

Then it was a bit of a bike ride to try to clear my head more.  I was quite surprised how quickly it was getting dark.  The relative quiet of the main road was spoiled by a passing boyracerful of 20-somethings, one of whom tried to surprise the poor cyclist by leaning out of the passenger window and yelling a scream at her.  It gave me quite a fright.  Why do I have to put up with this s***?  I'm just out for a damn bike ride.

I came back on the railway path to get away from people.  I stopped on the viaduct to listen to a Tawny Owl screeching from the trees, and also saw a bat flitting past.
