And relax

Collected a very happy Phin just after 10. He’d apparently been a dream to look after which was quite reassuring.

We took a walk along the beach to let Phin stretch his legs. He had an absolute blast chasing the ball we took with us and quickly realised that Stuart was the best at throwing. There were a couple of freshwater streams running down to the sea and it seemed safe enough to let him drink from there but more on that later!

Enjoyed a lazy lunch after we got back to the site. The others had planned to walk to Dunnet head but the winds were too strong so instead we took a run up to the lighthouse in the car. Boy was it windy! The views were stunning and it good to see how close the Orkney Islands were.

Stuart was tonight’s chef and we enjoyed pasta with meatballs followed by cheese and biscuits.
Before dinner we took the awning down with Linda’s help. It was so much quicker with three people and much less stressful!
