St Mary's

Spent a fascinating evening at St Mary's, in Haddington, listening to a talk about the history of witchcraft in Haddington. The Lothians had some of the highest number of witch trials across Europe and took place in Haddington and the surrounding areas. Some of the individual stories of the poor women involved were horrifying.
