Palace?

This building is IMPERIAL P(A)LACE: certainly not an emperor's palace, just an ordinary office block.

The display at the top of the building alternates between showing the time and the temperature. The temperature, you can see, is 29C. The time, I can tell you, was 9.30pm this evening. The lovely weather and high temperatures are, sadly, never guaranteed in this country but are, I think, well deserved as we put up with such a long winter and a miserable, cold spring.
