Glasgow Buildings

This picture is taken from the top of the water tower of the Lighthouse building in Glasgow which has quite impressive gallery featuring the work of Charles Rennie McIntosh. The building itself was I think at one time the headquarters of The Glasgow Herald. The climb to the top is by a spiral staircase leading to a fairly narrow platform with superb views over the city. I was attracted by this colonnaded sandstone building but also by the different shapes and styles typical of an ever changing city.
