Rising from the leaves

After such a lovely day yesterday the sun seemed to have used up its quota of energy for the weekend and we had grey skies back again, although it did stay dry. Bertie and I had a wander through the woods to see if anything had changed while we were away. Quite a few different fungi have pushed through the soil, moss and fallen leaves. I particularly liked this chunky specimen.
