March 1994, some wonderful memories of my Mum and our family holiday to Hong Kong, whilst it was still a British territory!

I remember exploring Kowloon with its array of jade markets and electronic shops. Victoria, the Peak, Aberdeen and even an excursion to the Chinese border! The transport infrastructure was superb, tunnels expressways and the world famous ferry as well as the old Kai Tak airport still in use - our Virgin 747 seriously did do a final approach between the tower blocks!
