Fungi

We had a good camera club meeting last night, we potentially have 10 new members which is great news. 

Today has been warm, I got rather hot walking Xena when walking back up the hill. I was very pleased to find this perfect fungi on my walk, the first one I have seen this season, and thankfully it was not yet nibbled or walked on.

I spent most of today getting organised for the new camera club season. I ordered new mounts and backing boards, and then I went through my photos looking for ones to enter into competitions. As expected I don't have that many - while I have thousands and thousands of photos I don't have many new ones that could possibly do well in competitions. As I am in the Advanced Class the standard is high, so the image has to be something a bit special and I am short of those at the moment.
