A little bit of everything

We crammed a lot into today. 

First the via Ferrata at the Cascade du Bérard - fabulous fun making our way across wire bridges that criss cross the gorge next to the roaring waters - extra of yours truly on the last bridge next to the old viewing platform.
Then a wander into the Upper part of the spectacular Bérard valley nature reserve to check out a monster 16 pitch climb - one for next time and a really early start!
Finally we headed to Vallorcine and grabbed a couple of hundred meters of sport climbing in the relative shade. 
Eventually we called it a day.... 20 minutes later the heavens opened to the extent the road became a river and we pulled over for a while.
