Showers over Hoy (Day 3403)
Marginally more active today, the first part of the morning was spent sorting out who and where to send one of my tools which needs to be calibrated. The tool was very expensive and saves me a load of time on jobs, but quotes for calibration and servicing were coming back at over £200, and they would have the tool for two to three months. Eventually I found somewhere more reasonably priced who will have it back to me in two weeks.
I got it all packaged up and my beautiful wife took me to town so I could post it off and we could do a couple of other things.
Back home for coffee then I took Sigyn for a wander at Lyde as the rain eased off. My first unaccompanied wander since the knee op. Still absolutely fine and in no pain at all.
After lunch, HV zoomed off to do a couple of trims, returning to collect me and take me along to see the horses. Nice to spend some time in amongst them as showers washed over Hoy. We got a quick blether with Mum as she took Birsay a walk along past the horses.
