Craft group

One of the new members who is in her mid eighties brought in a couple of her creations from 40 plus years ago. They are beautifully made, the one at the bottom is a bridesmaid’s dress showing the elaborate bow at the back. The arrangement was made by one of the young ladies using a walking stick.

The conversation came round to ‘what happens to all our creations, pictures and assorted stuff that we have made over the many decades’ when we move on. One of the benefits of a big family is that it can be dished out amongst everyone. 

These days I don’t make anything for me, everything has to have a planned home to go to before I start.

R came round in the morning for a team sort out. We compiled a list of things needing done, to see who has got where with the jobs. She is on holiday this week having been away working for a month. S is recovering slowly from his surgery last Saturday, enjoying his home cooked healthy meals and being cared for.
