Black Dyke

..Brass Band

I was on refreshments and a near sell out, so sat of the side of band ready for the interval dash.

Formed in 1855 they are a multi award winning band - and displayed an enormous trophy (silver top in tnail).

Not generally my thing but thoroughly impressed and enjoyed the opening Crown Imperial (William Walton coronation piece for the coronation of King George VI) and the Black Dyke big band suite.

Gloriously loud.
